HOSTEL RULES

Al-Irfan (CBSE) Secondary School is basically a residential school, there are five dormitories in the Hostel building accommodating 300 students.

Dormitories

  • Quartaba
  • Aqsa
  • Suffa
  • Arafat
  • Huda

Admission Rules

  • Admission to the hostels is exclusively on Principal’s discretion.
  • The conduct report of the resident from the respective warden must be satisfactory.
  • No complaints of indiscipline and misbehavior with hostel staff or fellow residents.

Mess Rules

  • Mess is compulsory for all residents.
  • Dining Hall timing shall be fixed as notified from time to time.
  • Food shall not be taken out of dining hall, except for sick residents.
  • All residents shall be present in mess at the time of all meals.

Campus Leaving Rules

  • No student/group of students is allowed to leave the campus without permission.
  • In case of sickness or medical reasons, students will leave the campus accompanied by warden.
  • Student desiring to leave the station must obtain prior written permission.
  • Strict disciplinary action shall be taken against those who fail to abide by the leave attendance rules.

Station Leaving Rules

  • Leave shall not be granted to attend functions and ceremonies except for close family events.
  • In case of sickness, leave shall be granted only on the basis of doctor’s advice.

Conduct

  • Any student damaging the hostel property shall pay the full cost and a fine.
  • Assessment of damage to common utilities will result in a "GENERAL FINE".
  • Mobile phones must be submitted to the warden upon entering the campus.
  • Students must respect each other and should adopt decent and polite behavior.
  • Smoking and use of tobacco are prohibited.
  • No posters or stickers should be pasted on walls.
  • Homosexuality is strictly prohibited and will lead to expulsion.
  • No noise should be made after Maghrib to disturb other residents.
  • Students must maintain hygiene and keep their belongings clean.
  • The hostel may be inspected by authorities at any time.

Vacation Schedule

  • All students should vacate the hostel at the end of each academic session within two days.
  • Late comers will be fined or given penalties as decided by authorities.
